Listening to the guys on CFB live drool over RW. Sure this guy threw for 3500+ and 28-14.

But looking deeper into his stats, he threw it 40.5 times a game last season, and had a completion percentage 2 points higher than LSU's gun slinger, Jordan Jefferson at 58.6% all while going against one passing defense ranked higher than 35th. RW also had a efficiency rating of 127, worthy of 62nd in the nation.

He's not going the light the world on fire, but he's a better option than the other QB's on Wisconsins roster.

He'll be productive enough to lead Wisconsin to double digit wins.

He had a down season last year I think compared to 09. I think 08 when he first started he was fricking amazing.

I believe he is highly overrated. I kinda wish Auburn would've got him, so he would've been exploited in the SEC.

That being said, he should be at least as serviceable if not better than Scott Tolzien was last year with Wisconsin's running game.

Last year was his worst season, but in 2008 he threw for 17 tds and 1 int as a freshman, and 31/11 as a soph.

We'll see how he does with what I assume is a much better Badger line than what he had at NC State.. I only really watched him in 2 games.. both vs SC, game 1 we knocked him out of the game and game 2 we sacked him like 6 or 7 times.. a couple of times in run downs. NC State scored a combined 3 points in those 2 games.

He'll be he best QB they've had there in about 10 years.

I can't even think of anyone better recently, Jim Sorgi?

looks damn good to me. LINK

He's not going to be the next Cam Newton. But, I could see him having a season like Jevon Snead his first season at Ole Miss.

Yes. He reminds me of a Herb Tyler type of QB with better mechanics. He'll be able to run the option and throw for somewhere in the range of 175 to 200 yards a game.

Where does he rank among the current BIG10 starting QB's to y'all?

I think the expectation is he will be the best QB in the Big 10/12 and make Wisconsin (maybe) the team to beat

1. Dan Persa
2. Russell Wilson
3. Kirk Cousins
4. Denard Robinson
5. Taylor Martinez

Just my opinion

Probably 4th-5th imo.

Somewhere around Taylor Martinez.

Behind Robinson, Persa and Cousins.

Isn't Taylor Martinez a very inconsistent QB? Nevertheless I'd say that either Wisconsin or Nebraska win the Big 10/12 this year. Especially with Ohio State introducing a new QB and I'm not to familiar about who Penn State has returning

He was in a very, very complex offense.

Now that it's simplified under Tim Beck, Martinez is going to have a great year. Probably will never pass more than 200 ypg.. but will be a threat to pass for 150 and rush for almost 100 every game. That's just my opinion.

Penn State has nothing special this year.

And from the little I saw of Martinez last year(obviously gonna see pretty much every game they have this year) he was inconsistent, but young and talented. He has serious speed and is a dual threat for sure.

Cousins, Persa and Robinson are ahead of Wilson imo.

Mavre has the talent to be a really good QB at Purdue... dude just can't stay healthy.

Gray at Minnesota was a pretty big dual star QB coming out of HS.. but I haven't followed him much.
