program?
Strong proved he could coach, Louisville put out some strong teams.

When you are getting out recruited by Baylor and TCU, it seems talent evaluation might be their most pressing issue.

I think its bigger than a coaching and recruiting problem.

In my opinion, it's a culture problem they have.

I don't really see it as a Charlie issue as much as correcting the established culture before he got there issue.

Class of 2008 from the state of Texas:

LaMichael James
Darron Thomas
Knile Davis

Passed on all of them.

He's had almost two full seasons. If it is a culture issue, which I don't believe, then maybe what he's doing isn't working

Oh, I didn't realize HS seniors affected how the UT football team was playing on the field this season Texas will finish ranked ahead of them as per usual

Baylor has 15 verbals, TCU has 16, and UT has 10. It will end up being Oklahoma/Texas at 1/2 in either order as it always is

That's kind of the issue. And this isn't a "wait until signing day when our big time recruits commit" type of thing that a&m is in right now. They are in the running for dontavious Jackson and Jean delance (who would be coming to a&m if we were recruiting him harder) and that's about it. They will end up in the same area as Baylor and TCU after signing day

two full seasons isn't exactly a lot of time, especially when Strong needed to basically start from the ground up with that program.

In college football, where he has only had one full recruiting cycle as head coach, no it isn't.
