Is MLB really interested in expanding into Mexico City?

Because sending the Astros and Rockies out there is probably not going to generate much excitement or demand for the sport.

MLB in Japan

when a game is played in Havana ...THAT will be entertaining

From what I've read, they don't build new stadiums with public money. And wouldn't pay MLB prices to watch. So it's highly unlikely.

Ever been to a Dodgers game? They actually built Dodger Stadium over a Mexican ghetto.....eminent domain'd them....but the people came back to reclaim their homes and live in Dodger Stadium.

They're just trying to tap into a new market to profit more and grow the sport. Hispanics love baseball. I've got no problem with it
