No even in his own era I can't put him above Tyreek, Adams or Kupp
had Patrick mahomes, Matt stafford and aaron Rodgers throwing to them. Mike had Jamies Winston and Mike glennon.

The era before has AB and Julio.
mike was a part of the era. He just isn’t a fricking nut job and hasn’t fallen off. Julio and AB are only 5 years older than mike.

He also had Tom Brady. Jamies may not have been a good quarterback for team success, but he was great for WR statistical success.

People overestimate how much bad QB play impacts a no.1 (just no.1 not all the other receivers on a team). Bad QBs force the ball to the top receiver too often. Whereas a better QB may spread the ball around more. I mean his best year in yards by far came under Winston and Fitzpatrick

A better QB will help but it goes both way. A guy avg 1100 yards a year isn’t going to suddenly avg 1500 yards with elite QB play

I feel like you need to clarify how we're ranking people.

- Career stats?
- Average per game stats?
- Championships?
- General dominance?

Because in my opinion, while he may get there on one or more of the stats categories, I wouldn't count him has one of the 10 best of all time.

lots of people ITT proving my point. In your opinion he’s not top 10 even though he marks multiple boxes in terms of championships, dominance and stats. But because he isn’t always talked about you forget about him and so you don’t think of him as top 10 when in reality he is. Mike evans is better than Antonio brown and devante Adams just to make a few.

Top 10? No. I can probably get behind top 20 or 25 tho.

Antonio Brown - 4 x 1st team all-pro, 1 awesome flying kick, some mental illness

Davante Adams - 3 x 1st team all-pro, 1 poor career decision in leaving GB

Mike Evans - 0 x 1st team all-pro, 1 nemesis in Lattimore who owns his soul

How is he better?

Mike Evans has almost 1000 yards more but Adams has one more rec TD. They came in the league the same year btw.

I'm certainly taking Mike Evans over AB that's not even a question. Mike is an all time great teammate especially for a WR not one ounce of diva in him.

Top 5 as a douche already.

He’s closer to Top 10 among his peers. Firmly Tier 2 - which isn’t a slam on him

All-time? Ridiculous

finally someone who actually understands how good Mike is. He’s out classed devante even with Adams having A-rod throwing him the ball. And anyone who calls evans a douche is an unserious person

If you asked me to put together even a Top 12 list, across eras, in no particular order, I think right now it would look like:

Rice
Moss
Hutson
Owens
Calvin Johnson
Chris Carter
Fitzgerald
Largent
Lance Alworth
Tim Brown
Tory Holt
Paul Warfield

To think what could have been for Sterling Sharpe. He’d be there before one of those last few if he’d had just three more seasons playing at the level he was when he got injured.

I don’t think I can out Evans on that list at this point, though not to say by the time he’s done, he’s not on it.
