Megatron and Jimmy Graham are by far the two biggest mis matches in the NFL, you really can't go wrong with either.

I really don't get why people want to call him a WR/TE?

How is he not a WR/TE though? He lines up more as a WR than TE. That's how he is utilized. He's not your typical TE, or even close to it. He's a hybrid.

Fair enough, I never got the "hybrid" vibe from his game. I definitely agree that he's the biggest mismatch at TE in the game.

I'd still put Megatron as the best receiving threat in the league, it's hard not have him at #1. He's unbelievable.

But, jimmy Graham is not far off. He's not as fast, but he's bigger, stronger, and just as un -guardable. He is quicker than a lot of people realize, and actually leads the league in passes caught 10+ yards down the field. So he is much more than just a short route target.

When you can throw it to a guy in triple coverage and he'll still come down with the ball, there's really nothing that can stop it. That's Megatron and Graham.

Maybe it's just the against the Saints but I've never felt like Julio has been an elite WR vs. us and we've had a pretty mediocre to bad secondary since 2009.

Apparently. This thread is ridiculous and that doesn't imply a knock on Graham at all.

enjoy it while it last, Julio is for real, and he will get his eventually.

Also, not sure if mentioned, but Tony Gonzalez needs to be in the conversation if we are talking about All-Time TEs. Graham doesn't have near as good of hands as Gonzalez.

Jimmy Graham is the best tight end, but it's close when Rob Gronk is healthy.

However, I'd take a couple of wide receivers over him, especially Calvin Johnson.

1. Calvin Johnson
2. Julio Jones
3. Dez Bryant
4. Brandon Marshall
5. Jimmy Graham

If any of these guys would play for the present day Saints, I think this is about the order of "uncoverability" they would possess.

Put Graham on the Lions (without Calvin) and he gets doubled and tripled all day with a shitty QB throwing to him.

He's a huge mismatch, but you can't dismiss who he has throwing to him (Brees) or all the players around him that enable teams to not double him all the time, although he beasted that TD yesterday in like triple coverage

What?

When Rob Gronkowski is healthy, he is the best tight end in the game. He has better receiving stats, efficiency stats, and is probably the best blocking tight end in the game.

Jimmy is a fantastic threat, but a healthy Gronk is better.

Oh, and Calvin Johnson is head and shoulders the top receiving threat.
