Is it conceivable that Houston gets in the College Football Playoff?

If things in the ACC go awry, and Clemson doesn't win the ACC Championship, and UNC and ND lose one more game, is it possible the ACC and Pac-12 miss out on the CFP and Houston gets in?

I wouldn't think so, but the American isn't a bad conference at all and Houston running the table would be incredibly impressive to me.

What are y'alls thoughts?

If Auburn beats Bama, and the Pac-12 remains screwy, maybe

They need the Big 12 to cannibalize and Notre Dame to lose.

If Clemson loses the ACC, Notre Dame probably falls out, maybe Clemson does too.

Lost-to-Cowshit-Texas Oklahoma probably gets in before Houston too.

Bama with a second loss to Florida in the SECCG probably gets in before Houston.

Notre Dame probably gets in if they win out and USC or Stanfurd wins the Pac12.

Really, the only certainty is that LSU is out for good now.
