Yeah the biggest complaint is he appears to be on angel dust. Honestly LSU's costumed mascot isn't much better. Resembles a fat otter.

The Stanford tree is not an official mascot, it's the band's mascot. It started as a joke after the hipsters at Stanford got rid of the "Indians" nickname during the 1970's. It was intended to look bad and has never been put to a vote to make it official...that I know of.
