He's got like 11 easy games to get ready for the next big one. Will be fine with that candy arse schedule.

According to Vegas in preseason he was rated with pretty good odds of winning heisman. I'd say that rates you

Come on Kosmo. This is a bait-click thread.

That being said, I want to see JT Barrett at the helm more.

He did pretty good last year. Those were tough teams he played.

yes, his ship has sailed.

oh wait.

i forgot he gets to pad his stats for most of the year.

should be a lock to put up solid 1st half stats in most of those games.

JT Barrett is the better quarterback for our system. 100% in my mind. If we would have been running the speed option like JT ran it the entire game, we would have forced them out of the bear and opened it up for our best player (Zeke).

JT also can consistently beat press, 0 coverage. This isn't a troll at all.

It seems odd that he got the starting nod.

Barrett was pretty great last year, and Jones was noteworthy for not being bad even though he was third string. He was a surprise, but OSU won because of their run game and defense in the playoffs.

I could see why they would start him if they wanted to use Barrett's redshirt, but that's obviously not the case.

JT is better but cardale is a champion.

Call it butterfly effect or what have you but if Barrett doesn't get hurt at Michigan m, Ohio state doesn't beat Wisconsin by 59 and we probably don't even make playoffs

I have no dog in this fight but I just think Barrett is better. Whatever. I kinda hope cardale fricks up for some reason. I'd cheer for Barrett though. I don't know why.

It's so unfair that OSU not only has an easy schedule, but all the inherent advantages that come with it:

A) Healthier roster for playoffs as starters have to log WAY fewer minutes
B) Can keep best plays / trick plays under CUM's sleeve until playoffs
C) OSU fans already blocking off playoff and championship travel dates since it's so obviously they'll be in - will own any venue they play in
D) there's more but I'm tired and going to bed mates.

He already used his redshirt his freshman year as he recovered from a knee injury.

I like that advantage we had last year by playing cupcakes. The one where we flew down south to play a neutral game against a healthy Bama with our 3rd string QB making his 2nd start ever

Cardale is a stud. I think he's better than Barrett- his arm strength gives y'all a dimension in the passing game that takes your offense to the next level.

The stats don't tell the full tale. That kid has the whole package from what I've seen. He's got a cannon for an arm, has nice touch, is very hard to bring down, AND can beat you with his feet. Like all QB controversies, I think the coaches know better that the rest of us.

JT Barrett is obviously better, but Urban will ride Cardale until he chokes a game away. But still with as much talent as there is around him, he might not choke one away.
