I gotta tell you, I've never made a list of all the 4-6 teams in history and took the time to compare them so I couldn't tell you.

people should do that sometime

and to keep it topical - include the best 0-13 teams of all time too

I'm just saying they're more than 2 or 3 players away from a MNC.

I'm sure they could buy one and make a strong argument

Burfict is a marked man. the Refs throw a flag every time he farts. Check out this clip from last night. Key 4th qtr drive by Stanford. "Facemask" by Burfict. He's standing back in the huddle and says something and, BOOM, another flag.

I know he's marked, and extremely talented but shite son. Just dont say anything. That being said he didn't cost them the game unlike a certain newspaper would like you to believe.

You have beaten two 1-AA teams for your four wins (and they're not even good 1-AA teams. One is 2-9, the other is 5-5). Your two 1-A wins are by 10 against a 3-6 team, and the other's against a 2-9 team. Stop acting like you're so close to being a NC team.

ASU always finds a way to lose they are like the Bills of CFB, remember that Rose Bowl against Ohio State a while back when the could have won the MNC.

Uh ya.....I remember it. It was my freshman year of college and I was actually at the Rose Bowl game. David Boston killed us on that last drive and we were retarded for playing Prevent D.

Yeah, their record is surprisingly bad for how good that team is.

I know. They have proven they can hang with anyone in the country.....they just cant close out games. If they could they would be scary.

No, because two of those 4 wins are against FCS teams. Only 1 game against an FCS school counts toward a bowl. Arizona State only has 3 wins they can count for purposes of playing in a bowl.

And Cal was not top 25.

Which makes a 50-17 loss even worse.
