all i have heard is how horrible a stadium it is... and how there is only one concession stand and its on the home side and how visitors are not allowed to go to it... Also heard how some people went around to SL fans vehicles and smashed in their windows... is it in a bad part of town? whats the truth here?

anyone familiar with redemptorist field, its similar to that, don't put central shite on the outside of your vehicle and you should be fine. anyone know of fans getting a charter bus or 2?

Parking is a b*tch at that stadium. Good luck with that.

Where is it? Directions?

To New Iberia on HWY 90, take the "Center St" exit, from there it is about 5 miles into town. Parking spills over into the street, but get there early if you want a spot inside the stadium. It is a very old stadium. Been there for probaly 40-50 years. It is not on the school campus, which is on the other side of town. Hope this helps.
Oh, some what rough side of town, but not dangerous or anything.

It's not in the worst part of town, but it still in the "ethnic" area of town. Don't leave anything in your car.

Is the stadium on campus because near campus isn't a bad area?

Been to the school. It's actually really nice. Didn't realize the stadium wasn't there.

Is it 10 rows are 7? Can someone respond who has actually seen it in person?

Lloyd G. Porter is actually older than 40-50 years. The school dates back to '27, and was the old high school that became the junior high in later years.
It is no longer used as a school. The stadium has adequate seating as far as total attendance. Of course, it's been twenty years since I've been to a game and more since I played. I think the visitor's side has three sets of bleachers that I would guess are more than seven rows.
I seem to remember some of our playoff and rivalry games at 10,000+. This was standing room included. These were NISH games however, there was no Westgate at this time.
