I’d go grab a meal at Herby K’s or something. Probably don’t want to be tailgating outside the stadium.
Not sure why this is getting downvoted, maybe something has changed in the past few years and they’ve got a good tailgating scene now.

Shreveport is a City in decline and an aggressively ignorant city council, pursuing racial politics at all costs, is accelerating that decline. City will set a record for homicides this year.

I haven't been since the LSU-Notre Dame ice bowl but I hear the I-Bowl puts on a decent tailgate. It's not the best area but I go to hockey games down there and I've never had a problem.

No but I do have to hike a 100 yds or so to and from my carwithout the security a tailgate would have.

I remember when it was just the STD capital of the United States. My married friend got the clap on a to Shreveport. Caught on a toilet set at the Holiday Inn Express!

People in here saying bulletproof vest and other shite likely have never been here. Have been tailgating the Indy bowl for 30 years in the parking lot and have had zero issues. The area is not good surrounding the stadium but it doesn’t give rise to issues tailgating. Don’t listen to morons. Go enjoy the game.

People on here hate and say horrible things about Shreveport for no reason l, and they have no connection to the city. I don’t understand the motive.

Most people just tailgate in the parking lot. There is nothing else in the local area. You could pregame at one of the casinos/Sportsbook a few miles down the interstate. There is nothing unsafe about the game, don’t listen to the morons

From the time you see the stadium until you actually park in the parking lot will be about 2 hours.

Been tailgating for the ibowl for last 20 years and have never had an issue. Yes the surrounding areas are bad but have never had issues tailgating around the stadium. Enjoy your trip.
