who else in that league has stepped up and played some of those teams or won and put themselves in that position?

UW's schedule is a joke this year. His expectations are a 9 or 10 win season at this point. He is essentially getting 4 gimmies for OOC, which means he just needs to go 5 of the next 10 (including the bowl game) to get to 9 wins.

Just checked out the Huskies' schedule, and I agree. Honeymoon season, potentially.

I love how beating up on Andrew Luck's Stanford teams (went to two BCS games), beating Russell Wilson and Montee Ball's Wisconsin team, and a decent K State squad for another BCS win means we shite the bed and only beat cupcakes. It isn't our fault Bama shitting the bed at home vs A&M was rewarded over us losing a November OT game to Stanford.

Seriously though, the Pac 12 is the second best conference in CFB and has a plethora of proven coaches roaming the sidelines.

They seem to have the most balance from top to bottom.

Nonetheless, UCLA is an eight win team on par with my Ole Miss Rebels if they played in the SEC West.

They would win nine or maybe ten if they were lucky enough to play in the SEC East.

We'll find out about Oregon really fast. The Pac is legit this year.

I dont put too much stock into recruiting rankings.

Hell, Oregon's national championship game team was chalk full of players that weren't in the ESPN 300, headlined by LaMichael James.

We've had a few 2 and 3 stars play in the NFL. Kiko Alonso is one.

Pac-12 is damn good football. I also think they ahve about as exciting and visually appealing game as there is.

The SEC is still the king, but so much of their football is just difficult to watch due to offensive ineptitude.

Pac-12 has an awesome blend of defense, creative offenses, beautiful venues. I love late night Pac-12 football.

I don't know man, I saw a lot of horseshite defense in the SEC in 2013.

I saw Utah play a few times this past year. They hung tough when I saw them play. They were right there with UCLA and Oregon State but they couldn't finish the job.

Isn't the presumed starting QB missing spring practice because he wanted to beat people up? Seems like that could throw a wrench in things.
