Strictly hypothetical to be considered for no reason other than discussion.

If there was an allstar system where teams were created based on the conference they played in the NCAA. Who would have the strongest team?

SEC Team

Offense:
QB: Peyton Manning, Matt Stafford & Cam Newton
RB: Arian Foster, Eddie Lacy, Mark Ingram, Stevan Ridfley
WR: AJ Green, Julio Jones, Alshon Jeffery, Rueben Randle
TE: Jason Witten

Defense:
OLB: Aldon Smith, Justin Houston, & Courtney Upshaw
ILB: Patrick Willis, CJ Moseley, & Jarvis Jones
CB: Patrick Peterson, Joe Haden, Morris Claiborne, Dee Milliner
S: Eric Berry, Eric Reid, Tyrann Mathieu

Special Teams:
K: Blair Walsh
P: Brad Wing

I'm sure I am missing loads of notable players but this was who I could think of off the top of my head.

What would the other conferences look like? Is SEC the strongest?

other conferences:

PAC-12 Team

Offense
QB: Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck
RB: Marshawn Lynch, Reggie Bush, Steven jackson, MJD
WR: Desean Jackson, Steve Smith, Keenan Allen, Doug Baldwin
TE: Gronk, Jordan Cameron

Defense
OLB: Clay Matthews Jr., Terrell Suggs
ILB: Kiko Alponzo, Vontaze Burflict
CB: Richard Sherman, Desmond Trufant
S: Troy Polamalu, TJ Ward, Jairius Byrd

Special Teams
K: Nick Folk

Just a few off the top of my head I would change:

Eli over Cam
Randall Cobb over Reuben Randle

All I know is the Pac-12 would have:

QB: Aaron Rodgers

RBs: Marshawn Lynch, Reggie Bush

TE: Gronk

WR: DeSean Jackson

On D

Haloti Ngata, Suggs, Clay Matthews, Richard Sherman, Troy Polamalu

Haven't bothered to research the rest.

What is this 7 on 7?

SEC would dominate in the trenches.

Incredibly stout on the offensive lien and defensive line.

The Pac-12 offensive line would be mostly USC players...

C: Ryan Kalil
Tackles: Matt Kalil, Tyron Smith

In fact, the entire team would be mostly from 4 teams - USC, Stanford, Oregon and ASU players.

The ACC would have something to say about this league:

ACC Team

Offense:
QB: Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan (The GM of the ACC would put in a formal request for Russell Wilson, but most likely be denied.)
RB: Lesean McCoy, Gio Bernard, Frank Gore, Lamar Miller
WR: Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Sammy Watkins
TE: Jimmy Graham, Greg Olsen

Defense:
DE: Mario Williams, Robert Quinn
DT: Vince Wilfork, BJ Raji
OLB: Julius Peppers, Elvis Dumervil
ILB: Luke Kuechly, D'Qwell Jackson
CB: Darrell Revis, Antonio Cromartie, Sam Shields
S: Kam Chancellor, Antrel Rolle

Special Teams:
K: Steven Hauschka
P: Matt Bosher
Return Specialist: Devin Hester

As would the B1G. To think one would dominate a game like this is silly.

it looks like all the big conferences have ridiculous teams. it's a cool concept to discuss, but the teams are all so fricking good that it would just devolve back into shite like brady vs. manning or impossible arguments about offensive lines or something where every player involved in the argument is a stud.
