You are commish.

Cp3 back to new orleans.

Lakers name back to minnesota.

Sacto franchise back to western ny. Buffalo, rochester, syracuse each get 27 home games.

Atl franchise back to st louis.

Louisville gets franchise back and its the clippers. Gets 2 picks at end of round one as compensatory for cp3 and insult.

Why does everything think the Warriors will sweep?

Everyone thought they would destroy everyone last year and they were one game away from losing the WCF 4-1 then lost the finals after being up 3-1.

This Golden State team is not invincible.

And the team that did all that, which was already the most talented in the NBA by a wide margin, added a top 5 player on top of that. They're likely the greatest collection of talent in the history of the sport. A sweep is not that crazy.

Depends on what we're discussing.

I was just throwing the trivia nugget out there. Do with it what you will.

If you're saying the league does better when major media markets/legendary franchises are relevant, I don't disagree. There is a way to do it w/out the players colluding together & making the smaller markets irrelevant.

The Jazz w/ Stockton & Malone were good for the league. The smaller markets can be some of the most passionate fan bases, & Ihate that they get shafted. Cities like MIA don't deserve elite teams; they bail on their team in the NBA Finals when it's still in striking distance, & are only there for the rep boost

If the 2001 76ers could win a game against the Lakers, Cleveland can do the same to GS.

I think people have forgotten just how shitty the Warriors road to the finals was. Everyone like to talk about how weak the east is, but the warriors draw was pathetic

Blazers
Jazz
Spurs without Kawhi and Parker

That is just as pathetic as what the Cavs faced

They never faced a team with a competent back court in 2015, and in 2016 they were down 3-1 to OKC.

They're the favorite, no doubt, but there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about how they'll perform against Cleveland. Lucky for GS, Cleveland's defense is so bad it probably won't matter.

Of course. That's why my prediction was Warriors in 5

Keep up this morning, y'all

I rarely watch regular season games but usually always watch a fair amount of the playoffs and all of it from conference finals on. I tried to watch last weekend and they were all over at the 1st quarter so I turned off.

I'll watch the finals, but if GS is up 20 at the end of q1 in game 1 I may turn it off too.

I thought GS had a bunch of contract issues coming up, so that this year might be a one-off.

The only way GSW sweeping would be bad for the NBA is if they do it the next few years.

Right now we are seeing 2 great teams dominate the rest of the league and it will sort itself out soon, like it always does.

With FA, Max contracts the ability to keep a team together it all changes quickly.

GSW have to keep 4 top nba players they will not be able to pay them

GSW is the best team in the league, Lebron is the best player in the league. I just don't see anybody that can stop LBJ, I'm taking the Cavs this year, after what they pulled last year they made me a believer, however if Kyrie doesn't play absolutely lights out again I don't see hope for Cavs but I think he is that money.

But a sweep in any direction wouldn't mean anything, but this IMO is the most meaningful title match in pro sports history, rubber match for 3 straight years in a row.....

An unforseen injury and it could throw the series for a loop.

They're guaranteed to have them for two more seasons after this one.

They'll probably lose Livingston this offseason and re-up Iggy. They'll probably continue developing McCaw, Looney, and Jones as the next batch of back ups while mixing in ring chasing vets on minimums.

The NBA needs to either do away with max contracts or significantly increase the number. That would stop this whole buddy-buddy superteam crap that's killing parity in the game.
