If they were actually in the SEC they'd have an equal SEC revenue split and would be able to recruit more depth, so the question has to be considered in context.

Pretty good point. Then again, it hasn't helped Kentucky or Vandy much

Not a good point. We are talking about Boise state this year. Not ten years down the road. Gay point.

Let's just ay there's more than one reason Peterson never entertains offers to coach elsewhere.

4 at least.

It isn't that BSU can't beat teams like Bama, LSU, et al. It's that they couldn't go thru a schedule with LSU, AU, Bama, UF, UGA, USCe, MSU, Arky, and OM without suffering some losses. And that's even if they had been in the SEC a few years and started recruiting more depth. They're still in friggin Idaho. They wouldn't get the talent LSU, UF, AU, and Bama get.

FWIW, I would LOVE it if they even got into the Big 10 or Pac 12. That would pretty much end this bullshite.

INJURIES on Offense - especially line and Defense would be their demise...
The brutatlity - including Kentucky - would wear them down.
People always gives these records, stats, etc. for usually 1 tough game a year. Even Vandy on a good day like last year will give teams like LSU fits.

They have plenty $$$$$$$. Nice facilities and are recruiting the crap out of Cali for great athletes, but this is the dirty south.;

I think the only teams that are better than Boise are LSU and Bama. However, they could lose a game to Florida, SC, or Arkansas, but it would be an upset.

If any team avoids LSU and Bama, then Boise could go undefeated with that schedule. There are too many circumstances that make this even remotely possible, but I think they are better than all but two SEC teams.

Last year they would have lost to LSU, AU, Bama and Arky. SC early in the season as well.

So you think they would have gone undefeated or 3-1 against LSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas?

Dumb frick, he chose to stay with Boise.

They don't play an SEC schedule this year, so it's a moot point, if you want to consider BSU vs. an SEC schedule, you have to consider all factors.

arkansas beats boise no question
florida would beat boise
lsu beats boise
alabama beats boise

one of these next few would beat them
south carolina
tenn this year could beat boise
houston nutt could probably gimmick out a win against them.

it is too much talent, and too much physical play for boise to face week in week out. it would make a huge difference. i just do not see the athletes on THIS year's boise's team to keep up.

heck auburn and mississippi st could give them a game this year.
