Even if she only played a year or two in the BIG3 she would be the #1 pick in the WNBA draft or to an overseas league when she decided to put her name in the hat. That 1 or 2 yr deal would probably be more than she could make in 5-10 in the WNBA.

I'm assuming she would make more than that in endorsements for at least the first 5 years or so. I would guess 230-250k in salary and another 250-300k in endorsements. If not some huge number for a signature shoe from one of the big 3 shoe brands.

Agreed, but you would think even if it was just a year the step down to the WNBA from the BIG3 from a speed and athleticism standpoint would have her more than well prepared to take that league over.

5 mil is more than most WNBA team’s payrolls. Might be a little less than the salary cap.

Ehhhh I don’t think so. In a 3 on 3 game she could hang with those washed up pros.
All she’s gotta do is roam the perimeter and catch and shoot, attack and kick every now and then to keep them honest. Ain’t like anyone’s playing D in that league anyway so she could just guard the perimeter on defense

If it was real. She will get destroyed by a 50 year old ex NBA play. She has no chance to defend them. I am not taking away her skills, she is good for a female but not an equal match.

But every one of those ex-NBA players will put her on the block and abuse her. It will be a massacre for her defensively.
Brilliant PR move by Ice Cube, though. I’ll watch.
