...can grant a preliminary injunction that essentially operates to stay a ruling by the US Circuit Court of Appeals that has jurisdiction over the case.

Ezekiel Elliot suspension.

I would love to know how a federal judge in Hawaii can override a Supreme Court ruling on immigration 2000 miles away but hey, apparently it can happen.

Nfl sued the NFLPA in NY to try and get the case moved there, like they did in the Brady case.

The federal circuit court held that the TX federal district court did not have jurisdiction over the case, so the injunction it granted Zeke was tossed.

Zeke then went to a federal district court in NY, which apparently is the proper jurisdiction, and filed a new case. I think that court has granted him a preliminary injunction, but I haven’t followed it closely.

I read that Zeke had tried to avoid the NY courts because they ruled against Tom Brady on similar claims. But after his TX case was tossed, he had no choice but to file in NY.

not really seeing as he has absolutely zero chance of succeeding. They should automatically add two games for all this nonsense. The CBA is plain as can be and agreed to by both sides.

I agree this is getting ridiculous, it's only 6 games bro YOU WILL SERVE THEM AT ONE POINT regardless how much you litigate the procedural aspect of Art. 46 its the CBA its a bargained-for contract, its a legal document, the government isn't gonna intrude upon private contracts and read new provisions into it and I can guarantee SCOTUS certainly won't

I only meant the jurisdictional issue, not the ruling.
