Can't he still come back and play college football if it doesn't work out? OSU's had a few guys (Joe Bauserman, Devon Torrence) do that in the past. Now I know, chances are, since he's a first round pick, he won't, but isn't it still possible?

Can he get paid by baseball and still play football down the line, though? Let's say he sucks it up and the Dodgers eventually don't want him, will he still have football eligibility? Or does he have to play for nothing?

Yes, we have Brandon Weeden as our QB right now. He got drafted and signed with the Yankees and tooled around for several years in the minors before coming back

That's what I thought. As I mentioned, one of our backup QBs and one of our starting CBs played minor league baseball. I just wasn't sure if they could technically be paid or not. The NCAA's pretty stupid, in case you didn't know (which we all do).

I think Lee has already said he won't do that. Also if the dodgers stepped up and paid 5.25mil I would guess that option is off the table anyway

if he completes his contract and is still screwing around in A ball, chances are he will do it

What if things don't work out with the Dodgers, though? What if Lee, for whatever reason, can't adapt to pro baseball? I bet Lee might change his mind then. And obviously, at that point, the Dodgers won't care what he does.
