They are one All-Star/Superstar away from being a consistent 45-50 win team.

Stan Van Gundy is a good coach. I think he has them ahead of schedule.

If they get Jimmy Butler this offseason, they could be a top 3 seed next year.

Don't go too far out on that limb.

The only coach to get some semblance of respect from Dwight Howard so far

And they're an 8 seed. All of the "East is horrible" talk should be dead.

they have 43 now so an added all star gets them 2 more wins?

They improved as the year went along. Pretty shitty luck for the Cavs. The pistons will give them a headache, this series will go at least 6

Seems like this young team is on its way to be a consistent 45 win team without any upgrade. Good try though

OP though Detroit won less than 40 games. OP has never watched an eastern conference game. OP is an idiot.

Yes acknowledging a multiple decade trend makes someone a drive by fan.

The has been shite for a very long time. Long enough for the commissioner to be actually open to the idea of getting rid of them when it comes to the playoffs.

A slightly average 8 seed doesn't suddenly mean the conference is fixed.

The West has two historically good teams and two more teams that could easily win the East if placed in that side of the bracket.

Responder... Even though he's probably a shitty Pellicans fan or sucks the life out of Curry, responder obviously doesn't know WTF he is talking about and/or hates his life in Louisiana... A state where talent/expectations drown...

Easily?

I'd at least like to see them have more dominant records against the East in the reg. season first.

The Thunder would walk to conference finals. Clips both top 10 in offense and defense would likely do so as well.

Something tells me your house smells like a paper mill or a pair of dust collecting bowling shoes... Which is it?
