How mad would you be if were Aj Green, Dez Bryant, some of the tarheels, marcell dareus, and all those attend the agent parties. They are forced to sit out and Cam Newton is ruled elegible. Aj sold a jersey and sat out 4 games. Cecil Newton sold his son and is prolly getting a Championship

I agree completely with you it is extremely hypocritcal. complete loss of creditablity.

Had Green. Bryant, UNC players, and Dareus' parents all attended those parties instead of them, they wouldn't have gotten in trouble.
They can't prove Cam did anything wrong. Same with Auburn. They proved those other players did things wrong.

I didn't know hanging out with Deion Sanders was worse than shopping a young man's college experience. proof or not. its seems to be completely backwards

What was the problem with Dez hanging out with Deon Sanders? What was the root of the violation? and why was it necessary to disclose?
To the broader point--yeah, it's a fricking joke.

Dez hung out with Deon and lied about it to the NCAA.

The difference is Cam was smart enough not to be seen driving around campus in a Range Rover.

What kids have to realize is when you break the rules, you can't leave a money trail. Cam learned this from his previous run in with the law.

money trail.. HaHa I bet when Cam threw that computer out the window (when the cops arrived) he was still holding the mouse. Cops are like "well its unplugged, i guess we can't charge you".
In the big scheme, maybe the ncaa took reggie's trophy just to give it to cam, like the LSU Number 18 Jersey.

I love the though of giving Reggie's old trophy to Cam if he wins. Hell, it's already tained. Let Cam hold t for a year or two until he has to give it back. It could become a tradition.

The Stoudamire suspension is the one that most directly relates to this case.
Hypocrisy at it's finest.

I agree. That was total BS.

Selby at Kansas had to donate his benifits to a charity of his choice. Does Cecil have to donate $180k? It doesn't make sense.
