From
Wes Welker
Chris Hogan
Julian Edelman
Reche Caldwell

Etc

Even Randy Moss had a great stretch with Brady. I think Cooks will turn into a star with an elite QB that knows how to make those around him play wayyyy above their skill set. Cooks has the skills he just never had a coach or QB like Beli-Brady that can utilize to reach his potential.

Numbers wont change much imo. He will still get around 1,000 and 8 tds, so very productive.

110 catches 1450 yards. Basically Welker 2.0...

IF he wants to run over the middle. If not, prolly something like 90 catches, 1300.

He might just be another cog in the NE machine.

I know this may be construed as biased but I don't think this is some big upgrade for Cooks stat wise. I would expect his numbers will stay the same if not maybe drop some. Brees typically has superior passing stats to Brady and they both like to spread the ball around.

Now if his goal is to win SBs then yeah it's an upgrade big time.

Patriots run slot of screens and cooks never really excelled at screens. They may use him as a decoy to open things up for the other white guys underneath.

New England signed him to be a deep threat to pair with Gronk and Hogan. Now that Brady has a line that can hold up, he can go deep far more often. If I had to guess, I'd go with 70 catches, 1,100 yards or so.

You know that this is all a troll to not so subtly say that Brees sucks and Payton is a bad offensive coach, right?

He very well may, but he's going to have to learn how to go over the middle which he's never done. Although Brady will probably either throw deep or quick screens 90% of the time.

Edelman is still there. Gronk, Mitchell emerging, then the rest of the role playing WR

Cooks will have 1 job there, just like the Saints.

I wish Brady could get a big body receiver in the Brandon Marshall frame. Always with the little slot players.
