The New Orleans envy of Atlanta is strong. Always seeing post on here Atlanta bashing. It is almost as bad as the Seahawks fans consistantly wanting to seem like they have always been a better franchise than the 49ers. Little brother syndrome. I hope a lot have. It's fun when a state team really starts winning. I don't see why people get bent out of shape when people start to cheer for their team.
I'm not a fan of the people who only cheer for the hot team, but if they aren't NBA fans and the Hawks season steers them toward it

No one ever talks shite about Atlanta on the food board, as much as you'd like to imagine it. Other than nFL season, no one I know gives two shits about Atlanta either way.

I give fans of the Hawks/Pels/Grizzlies some slack when it comes to being bandwagon fans, as the majority of the NBA under Stern was shamelessly loaded in favor of a few choice teams. It was hard to support your smaller market and 'undesirable' teams knowing they had no chance going into the playoffs. It's a lot more fun now that every team actually has a decent chance. I'm loving the parity in the NBA this year.
