Lebron james 32 pts, 11reb, 10 asst Ray allen 9 pts 1 reb, 2asst Yeh, you are right. Allen was more important in game 6
Take Lebron away for the game or final quarter, it's an easy SAS win.
There, done. That was easy.

if lebron played in the west he'd have fewer negatives about "losing in the finals" b/c he wouldn't have made it as much but would have won it everytime out of the west. then the only black mark would be the finals he lost in CLE early on, but if anybody held that against him they're insane

I mean he said Ray allen single handedly won game 6. The guy had 9 freaking points and 1 rebound

You should think about your word choices. Don't say someone is singularly responsible for something if they were not indeed singularly responsible for something.
May bring your arguments more clarity.

It's unknowable whether they would have or wouldn't have.

quote:If he's not on the court for that shot, Miami doesn't win that game to even get to game 7. To me, that's singularly responsible. No one else on Miami makes that shot. Chalmers is a head case and neither Lebron nor Wade has proven to be "that guy" from the spot-up corner. When the next most reliable option to hit a game-saving 3 pointer on your team is Chris Bosh, the outlook isn't bright.
Don't say someone is singularly responsible for something if they were not indeed singularly responsible for something.

I think it was him getting punked out against Dallas. IMO you can't be considered the greatest when you played scared in the Finals
It is a headscratcher for sure, but I'm not sure scared is the right term. Regardless, the idea that getting the Finals and then shitting the bed is somehow worse than shitting the bed in the conference finals or semi-finals is ridiculous.

What kind of argument is this? This is pathetic.

So Miami wins Game 6 without Ray Allen on the court?

Does Miami win game 6 without Lebron in the game or 4th quarter?

Huh? D-Wade made a trip the finals without LeBron, but it was anything but solo.
What people truly seem to forget is that LeBron went to the Finals with Zydrunas Ilgauskas as his best teammate.
ETA: I somehow forgot that Mo Williams and Delonte West came to Cleveland AFTER this year, which makes it even more impressive.

I think you are confusing partially responsible with "solely responsible"

did the game start at that shot?
that 9 points,1 rebound,and 2 assist is better than 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists
