Regarding Ascension parish only:

Dutchtown voted to end split, have four equal football playing classes.

Ascension Catholic and Ascension Christian obviously voted to end the split.

East Ascension, St. Amant and Donaldsonville are scared of competition.

Shame on EHS. They have everything they need to be successful in a combined 2A.

Some of those schools on that list that play good football cast a shameful vote

I'm counting less than a majority of 5A voted for the split... only 26 of them

A little hope?

Idk. None of the proposals had a combined 2A as it currently exists. Two had a multiplier, one was the dumbass rural/urban split, and the other was the 4 class proposal for football that would have them playing current 3a schools.
