He’s 1 game from beating Frank Howard (most wins at Clemson) and only like 12 ACC games from overtaking Bobby Bowden for most ACC wins. Once he does that I could see him retiring for a period of time.

Clemson’s Dabo Swinney on Oct. 17: “Honestly, maybe we need to lose a few games & lighten up the bandwagon. Sometimes the bandwagon can get a little too full.” Mission accomplished: Tigers are 0-2 since then & drop to 7-7 in last 14 games

Who was the last two-time national championship coach fired for his coaching performance?

Not even warm and don't think he will ever be fired at Clemson unless the wheels completely fall off. However, I do believe several factors have caused the program to slip and don't think Clemson will return to being a consistent Top 5 program like the Watson-Lawrence years.

Seeing the way things have been turning out with 5 star QB's like Ukulele and Klubnik would scare the shite out of me if I were a top rated QB looking at Clemson.
