The Members out there kill the rate of play, it's insane how slow those guys can get.

Have a wedding to go to in Kinder in June so I'll probably go up early on Friday and play there. Never been but have heard nothing but good things about it.

Kosati has a really fun layout as well.

[quote]I played at Kosati Pines this weekend. That course was in great shape. The only confusing thing was, they flipped the course since the last time I was there. So 1-9 now use to be 10-18 and vice versa. Regardless, it was in great shape. [/quote
You didn't happen to be there for a golf trip.......?

I always stop and play GP whenever I make it past Beaumont. Have yet to replace it with anything the casinos have come up with so far.

i played it yesterday and it was okay. Greens were awful. I enjoyed hole 18 and if the course had been maintained like that hole it wouldve been much better.

I played Greystone Friday. Greens were pretty darn good.

Yea, their maintainence budget is a 1/3 of what is was when it opened 10+ years ago. They're doing what they can with the little money the HOA allows them to spend. There are no marshalls out there so yes, the play is always slow on busy days.

They may as well shut it down, punch and sand and 3 weeks later and still pathetic?

Did you make that bogey putt?

Latour's greens were the slowest I've seen them Sunday. And still no work on cartpaths, Chouest better get off that money!
