Davis Webb: Transferred to Cal and started in 2016 and was a 3rd round pick in 2017.
Baker Mayfield: Transferred to OU and is the current 2 year starter. Probably a 1st rounder in 2018.
Pat Mahomes: 1st round pick in 2017.

Air raid is a beast at producing crappy NFL QBs.

Well, we really don't know how good they were 4 years ago. I'm sure they all developed a good bit over 4 years.

Gus Malzahn would've passed over all of them.

I'm not sure Mahomes was ever on the roster with Mayfield, but I could be wrong.

Don't forget about Michael Brewer who later started at Va Tech. Also, while Mayfield won't do shite in the NFL Mahommes will be great.

Also, in 5 years we'll say the same about the 2014/2015 Aggies:

Kenny Hill
Kyle Allen
Kyler Murray
Connor McQueen

If Tebow can go in the 1st and Hackenburg in the 2nd, anything is possible.

Mahommes is a legit talent, he's going to be solid.

But yeah, Mayfield's skill set won't translate to the NFL. Just like with Manziel it's painfully obvious to see, but a poorly run franchise will still waste a 1st round pick on him. But Mayfield seems to actually have his head on his shoulders, isn't a druggie dumbass, and has a work effort that a lot don't match, and is a good leader. So unlike Manziel, Mayfield will be able to stick around as a backup. He'll make it at least 5 seasons IMO. Sure af more than the 2 that JFF made it
