pitchers who bean players who steal signs should be suspended for a large chunk of the season with inclined penalties if it occurs in the future

I was under the impression that teams that stole signs were stripped of a 1st round draft pick and fined a million dollars...

In high school, the indicator for us was the bill of the cap. Everything he touched before didnt matter. Once he touched the bill, you added every touch he made with that hand, and subtracted with touches from the other hand. Had a 1-10 system. Never had any issues with anybody stealing it unless there was a former player coaching for the other team. I always enjoyed trying to see if I could figure out what system the other team was using

Edit: this was not for pitch calling. For calling pitches we used wristbands because its the easiest thing

Yea, stealing signs from the third base coach is another level. Pitches give you 120-150 opportunities a game to figure it out. Watch a baseball game and see how many times there is something called by the third base coach. A few steals, a hit and run or two, and a couple of bunts. That's it. Not a lot of opportunity to figure it out.
