Didn't go for on 4th and 1 after the flag when they had been running the ball effectively the whole game (could have run on 3rd and 1 for that matter)

Punter shanked opportunity to pin Cowboys deep

Stafford fumbles the game away once, gets a second chance, and fumbles again

Give up first down on 4th and 6

Imagine the headlines if it is Romo that is the one fumbling. Instead, the narrative we hear is conspiracy on a picked up flag with eight and a half minutes left in the game.

Even in a win, the Romo shite doesn't stop.

Find the nearest brick wall. Take your shoe off. Kick that wall as hard as possible. That's the punishment you deserve for starting this thread.

It was like re-watching the Michigan State vs. Baylor game without any of the exciting parts

I agree they should have went for it. They were losing momentum (especially after the call that became a no-call) and needed something to keep it.

Not going for it lost them the game.

Even if they didn't get it, it saves them more time on the other side of a Dallas score

It's an inexcusable call to punt In that situation, and it's hilarious that the punter only got 10 yards on the kick. That's football karma pissing in your mouth Caldwell

I don't know that they "choked"...there was definitely an element of playing not to lose down the stretch and it cost them.

Of course, that has been a problem all season...this push toward making Stafford more of a "game manager" with a conservative approach and letting the defense get the job done. That's all well and good, but when you don't have a running game you can't play that style consistently.

Not going for it on 4th and 1 was a mistake too, no question.

Les Miles/Lane Kiffin school of offense.

"shite, the run has worked ALL game long! It's 3rd and short! We can end it with a 1st down! TIME TO PASS!!!"

NFL was never letting them win that game. No dog in the fight just an observation.
