Baloo, How long does Tremblay have left? Will there be any Bird fans there this week or just Yankee fans?

SCREW giving up the farm for Gonzo.. but I will admit he would do wonders for the entire lineup.
i don't think the pads will deal him this year now..

Get your head out of your arse Braves.. GET Dye! And Bring up Freeman. (Slow start, but he's finally getting hot down there in triple A leading the team in hitting)

Yeah because the potential of Freeman is way better than Gonzo's current production

Trembley is a dead man walking. He isn't as awful of a hiring as Mazzilli, but he's been pretty bad and it's pretty clear he has lost the team. I still think they should hire Rich Dauer or another Weaver acolyte. It's not like Oriole Way was successful or anything.

And it'll be all Yankee fans. I am on a personal ban from Yankee games, as I've almost gotten arrested the last two times I've been to the Yard to see the O's play the Yankees. Then again, I now safely live in Dallas.

We went 2 years ago to see the Yanks and Orioles. All Yankee fans. I had on a bright orange Oriole color shirt and people were laughing at me. My son bought an A Rod shirt to be obnoxious. My 80 year old Mother in Law said why are there so many Yankee fans in Baltimore?

Mariano, Jeter and A Rod shirts everywhere.

If you lived in between NY and Baltimore and had the chocie of going to Camden or Yankee stadium, which would you choose? That's why its packed with Yankee fans. And its a nice day trip for New Yorkers.

Infuriating.

I live 5 miles south of the Statue of Liberty and always prefer to go to Camden Yards. In fact we were just talking anout it on Sat. 3 hours down the Turnpike. Cheaper, Parking easy and $8. People are so much nicer. Only in Baltimore will they let buy a coke ion the Parking Lot and carry it into the stadium. A few years ago when my now 19 year ols son was little, a cahier told him that the small coke was big enough for him and not to waste dad's money ona large. Damn. The O's have $8 tickets Friday night, walk up only. $8 will get you as hot dog maybe at Yankee Stadium.

But I must say that when i went to Yankee stadium last year when jeter broke Gehrig's team hit reocord it was great (weird to be ther eon 9/11 but....)

Going in June to Citi Field to see the Twins (Hey my wife wanted to go to this game)

You'd be surprised how many Yankees "fans" show up at the Ballpark when they are in town.

Damned bandwagoners.

No and we always talk about it. We used to go the Vet a lot. An hour and a half down the Turnpike. Last year we were going and somehow it fell through. I'm glad you said something (I'll mention tonight to my wife) Never any traffic down that way

well thats for sure, but what good is it going to do when the braves won't extend him.. it's just going to set us back again.

i would love to get gonzalez, but i don't see any way the pads would let him go now.. he's not exactly costing them much money either.

Camden Yards really is a beautiful park worthy of its rep. I blame the Orioles sucking for all of the Yankee fans there. And I only get mad at the Guidos who act like they own the place. I hate those guys.

But really, I think many Yankee fans are priced out of Yankee stadium and I perfectly understand why they come to B-more.

Which is why I made it a case in this thread to say that if we did this deal, we better be willing to fork over the money to resign him or it's not worth it at all.

If they keep up their current pace there's no way in hell they let him go. But if they fall off like most expect him to do, his value will be at his highest point at the all star break as team's are willing to give away a lot to get him for a year and a half rather than give up less in the offseason for a year or even less than that at next all star break.

2 years ago I went to an NRPA conference in Baltimore (got 3 credit hours) for my major at UGA. It was me, 2 other guys, and 4 girls..tons of fun. Nice city. One of the first nights Camden had a big ceremony thing for the conference. It was basically a big arse party in that alleyway behind right field and that big brick building. We also got to tour the field and sit in the dugouts. Very cool ballpark.

I was listening to the MLB show on XM, they were saying that there are some problems in the clubhouse.

June at the ealriest. Delay the service time clock and free agency. Calling him up early will cost you either a year of time or millions of dollars five years from now. Plan ahead.
