Not really. Double A may be streching it a little but the sec is most def. comparable to high A ball

I got the chance to sit right next to Smoke Laval a few weeks ago during a baseball game. Now I know a lot of yall will say that he does not know college baseball or talent - but I would disagree. Anywho, I asked him the same exact question. He without hesitation said SEC baseball on the whole is on the A level and when you talk about the better teams (top 16 or so) you are on the brink of double A ball.
