Wow.
For those not watching, wastes his last TO when the clock wasn't even running. Auburn just runs the clock out and laughs.

Pretty sure the clock was going to restart because of ridiculously stupid rules. If I'm not mistaken, the clock restarts following penalties during the play.

Ref even said it wouldn't.

The ref said it wasn't a run off situation when he announced the penalty.

The absence of a 10 second runoff does not mean the clock doesn't restart on the ready to play signal. Y'all are getting your rules confused.

Run off and clock starting on his say is totally different.

Nobody is getting anything confused. The ref made the announcement that it was not a runoff situation. I just saw the replay again. It was clearly stated.

The run off is a run of the clock where the offense can't snap the ball.

The clock starts after a penalty on the refs signal. That's not a run off.

Again, a runoff situation and the clock starting on the ready to play signal are not the same. There was no run off, but the clock would start before the snap.

penalties don't benefit the violating team. a run off would benefit Auburn in that scenario.

All I was talking about was the ref saying it wasn't a runoff. I never made any comment about the clock starting after a penalty.
