Biloxi has the Sea Wolves now BR has the Zydeco. The Sea Wolves games are a helluva lot of fun to watch in person! Was anyone actually wanting hockey back in BR?

I'm a Sea Wolves fan. Loving getting one of the tables down behind the goal and have a few beers. BR got two of our players in the expansion draft.

I used to go to some of the Kingfish games back in the 90's and they were fun. I'll probably check out a game or 2.

Last year was my first year ever watching hockey. After the initial "WTF are they doing" it got to be quite fun! Bring on the hockey, and the fights.

Hockey is outstanding to watch in person. I will absolutely be going to some. Not season tickets or anything but certainly catch a few of them.

A few people did, yes.
But the local franchise is going to eat itself alive. The put out a PR release last week about cowbells being a "thing" at hockey games and that they wanted that to happen here. The timing of that was outstanding, since LSU football had just played Mississippi State and most non-State fans loathe cowbells.
I give them 2 years, tops. It just isn't a model that can be successful long-term.

A couple of the guys from Biloxi have been called up. Surprising how many players from TX and FL are in the NHL!

I love hockey. Started watching NHL a few years back. I used to go to Ice Gator games when they played here in Lafayette in the mid 90’s.
