Yes, very possible. As of right now they have Tiger projected to be 3rd in the FedEx Cup standings if the tournament were to finish with the scores it has at this moment.

If he wins all 3, he wins by a wide margin. If he wins this event, he's guaranteed to be in the Tour Championship, and a win there would guarantee the cup, with other scenarios where he could win the cup without winning the tournament as well

lol - I thought the same thing. This is his first round in the 60s that I can remember in quite some time.

The PGA Tour plays #2 as a par 5 in February as well. It's just the USGA that converts #2 to a par 4 when the US Open is there.
