Here's a video of Rockets Pat Beverly being arrested for an upaid toll violation

This is such a great use of the police's time.(It was pearland PD not Houston PD)
They try to buckle him in at the end and he tells them its not a law to be buckled in the backseat and unclicks it.

That's not the reasoning for bucking the seatbelt. Their buckling the seatbelt as a liability protection. By him unbuckling it, the police are gaining even more liability protection.
