i've heard rumblings of teaming up with Frankie MacDonald. Sergio sticking to sports; Frankie cleaning up the weather.

I don't feel sorry for him. Well ... I kinda feel a little sorry for him ... he obviously has been fed the liberal line of BS brainwashing and bought into it.

That's the thing. ESPN's decision making as to the broadcast team wasn't based upon competency and ability. It was based on checking diversity boxes. They had a female PBP person (who honestly isn't bad at her job) and needed another minority to meet their quota. Lisa Salters, who is black, is already the main sideline reporter for MNF. ESPN figured we have two women on the 2 broadcasts, one of which is black. Now we need a Hispanic person to play a role. So this guy was selected and put in a position that he never should have been put in. So what happens when you force someone who is uncomfortable and inexperienced to do something? They come across as uncomfortable and inexperienced.

It was uncomfortable just watching. I thought it was a kid from High School that had been granted a Make A Wish....

yeah, that was rather bizarre.

lots of different ways he could have handled that.

the most logical.. take your lumps and move on.

That was beautiful, and exactly the kind of programming ESPN puts out now a days. Well done.

This next Monday night telecast isn't going to be the same without him.

Tomorrow night's broadcast is going to be a huge letdown with him not on the sideline. Further proof that ESPN must not care about ratings anymore.
