OSU is in. The biggest lobbying he has ever done was Alabama to the national championship in 2011. He kept saying "slam dunk, they're in...only other way is if Oklahoma State crushes Oklahoma". Okie State proceeded to crush Oklahoma and he along with the rest of ESPN refused to acknowledge it. They had Saban on GameDay that morning at the SEC championship making the case for Alabama...I may sound like a butthurt LSU fan, but they definitely made it clear that they wanted Bama in that game.

The only way in which a conference champion should make it with 2 losses is if they win in a major blowout.
But the key is, this rule should be pushed with other teams. Other power 5 teams that have an 11-1 record and a good resume should be in if they somehow weren't in the conference title game.
