Started a dads, sons baseball trip last summer. Hit Baltimore and DC and had a blast. We decided to make it an annual thing. Going to NYC this trip. Going to be in Yankee stadium tomorrow night watching Kevin Gausman pitch for the O's against the Yanks. Will see the Mets and Dodgers Friday night. Hopefully get to see Greinke break Hershiser's record!

Unless he goes 15 plus it won't happen when you're there.

You'll have a blast.

Leave early for the Mets game. Lots of construction on the 7.

Didn't realize he was that far off. Too lazy to research but knew he was getting close.

I think he is at 43.2 and the record is 59. Weird how it's always a Dodger with that record.

Looking forward to seeing him pitch in person. He sure is nasty on TV, and that never does it justice. Have really good seats so should get a real perspective.

That's awesome. Going to be there next summer with the kids playing ball. I think we are going to Chicago for our baseball trip and will try to catch the Cubs and White Sox in town at the same time.

I go up there periodically. Was at Citi a month or so ago and as another poster said the construction was brutal.

You'll have fun though. I always enjoy both ballparks.

I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago and caught a Yankees game and a Mets game. I also took a train to Philly for a game over there. Wasn't too bad of a trip...only an hour and a half ride. Might want to look into doing that too while you're up there.

Get to Yankee Stadium 2 hours before first pitch so you have time to take in the park and the history of that area. One of the most gratifying trips I've ever made and I know you and your son will thoroughly enjoy. Walk the entire park and have a good time.

Philly has that whole stadium in the middle of a parking lot well removed from downtown vibe. I hate it.
