This article is fantastic. I don't think I've read an article that I've agreed so much with. The main point that I think really need to happen are the draft order and the hybrid icing. The draft order needs to happen in every sports league. As soon as I read that I was completely on board with it.

They should bring back the old division and conference names (Wales, Campbell, Patrick, Adams, Norris, and Smythe).
So what if it would confuse non-fans? They're not fans anyway. It was a nice, unique feature and the Patrick Division was awesome.
Plus, if you have any interest at all in a sport, you'll have no trouble following. Would baseball fans be confused if they called the NL East the Aaron Divison, the Central the Clemente Division, the AL East the Ruth Division, etc?

I'm a Panthers fan. Still pissed they got rid of the Habs vs Panthers games down here. The crowd was 70% Canadiens - 30% Panthers Funny how a home game would become an away one. Just made our players play that much better.
