Callaway X-Prototype irons. Probably one of the best looking and best feeling set of muscle back blades ever made. I'm not great at posting images, but google them.

If you're a true 14 you can handle them. Playing them will force you to become a better player though. If you want a GI iron that gives a bad swing a decent result these aren't the irons for you.

I really like the look of the X Hot Pros. I have been looking at Wilsons as well. Like the C11s.

I hit the Ci11s and love them. Got then in great condition on eBay with KBS Tour Stiff shafts for $230

I considered the FG Tour or the FG 62s for a while. Good looking club and underrated company IMO.

That was a great deal just for the shafts alone.

I play these, and I think they're great. Long and forgiving. I went from AP2s to these when they came out last year because I got fitted and the shafts I was fit for came stock in the x hot pros. I think getting fit for shafts in any club is way more important than anything else. If you're going to get new irons, it'll be worth your time to make sure you get the right shafts. Then I'd look for something used with the correct shaft in them if money is a factor.

Yes?

Are you asking seriously?

ETA:

The answer is yes by a long shot. You shouldn't be looking at either of these irons though. If you're looking for forgiveness you need something a lot newer.
