Easily the best game I've seen all year, and other than the one big PA call, the refs avoided getting overly ticky-tacky.
It was a well-officiated, well-played, and well-coached game that went down to the wire. Those were at a premium this year and in the post season as well.

Texas-USC in '05/'06 was like a 22.4... and that's the highest-rated college game since the 1987 Fiesta Bowl between Penn St. and Miami.
Really sucks that they lost, though (yes, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Cowboys fan, you can't shake it when you've been following them since the 1970s). Felt like that Tech-Texas game in 2008 when the Longhorns were No. 1, fell behind by like 24-7, came back, went ahead... then lost it on the Michael Crabtree catch. frick.

Steelers vs Pats will have huge ratings this weekend too I would think

The NFL's issue this year was about quality, last weekend showed there were just a lot of bad football teams this season.
I'd also say the shitty officiating and commercial breaks too. I love to watch some football but I know more often than not if it wasn't the Broncos I wasn't gonna watch unless it was a really good matchup.

How were the ratings for the other games?
