We can beat Stanford...on or off paper.

Stanford keeps everyone in the game.

They dominated the Ducks for 3 quarters and Oregon was right there at the end.

Look what Utah did to Stanford.

We have a really good defense...as long as the opponent isn't spread pass happy - which Stanford isn't.

We will probably get sacked a lot and probably not have much of a run game.

But USC can win this game...something like 14-10 if we catch some breaks.

Shaw is keeping everyone in the game. All he has to do with that O line is line up in 2 TE formations and run downhill at people. There's not a team in the country with a better run blocking line.

We aren't deep enough to stop that for 60 minutes.

He likes to use Hogan throwing the ball in weird situations though, and that's something we can exploit with our pass rush.

We need to stay in striking distance or even better get a lead on them early. They're not a big "comeback" team. They will hit you though. And we're down to 41 scholarship players and some walk-ons.

The deck is not stacked in our favor.

An LSU and USC bowl game would be fun. We need more SEC and Pac12 bowl tie-ins

More? There isnt a single SEC and Pac 12 bowl tie in. We need one period. Have it be in a great destination. LA/San Diego? New Orleans? Does anyone know if the new Access bowls will retain the previous tie ins other than the Orange, Sugar, and the Rose? Can we have an SEC/PAC 12 match up in the Fiesta, Cotton, or the Peach bowl?

I would love to travel to Florida for an Oregon/SEC bowl matchup but a site in Texas would seem to be the most logical, right?

Hell, put it in New Orleans. I'd go there. Would the SEC make the trip if it was in Vegas or San Diego/LA? I wouldn't mind meeting up in San Antonio either. I have never been to the Alamo Bowl, but I have heard good things.
