I know you're being sarcastic.
In what universe can I guy be dragged to the ground, and then jumped on with a flying elbow without an ejection? When Delly landed, he kept his torso straight up and put his hands back to keep him from sliding or hitting too hard. In no way shape or form did he try to "roll up" Horford. How do people question this ejection?

I didn't have a huge issue with Horford's ejection. if you're going letter of the law, I think it's the right call. what I found interesting was the ref's explanation of Dellavadova's tech call:
looking at a replay, you can see Delly subtly "nudge" Horford's knee just after he hits the floor. maybe it was nothing/ unintentional, but I think that as much as anything is what made Horford react as he did.
37-38 sec mark of this vid for Delly's "knee nudge"
interestingly, if you're gonna acknowledge that Delly did something illegal, particularly toward Horford's knee, I'd think you might give Horford some leeway on his reaction. but again, letter of the law, so it is what it is. and the ref kinda touches on that in the interview linked below.

quote:
Q. Why did Dellavedova get a technical?
A. We felt that he made contact with his head and shoulders into the knee area of Horford. So we ruled that a live ball physical taunt technical foul.”

How can I be sarcastic about this? Delladova was assaulted.
