Heat shoot better.

Mavs shoot better.

Bron/Wade will do a better job at getting to the rim.

Mavs NEED a win here or their chances of winning will be on life support.

Heat blew their wad in game 1.

bench outscored ours (wont repeat)
46% from 3 PT land (wont repeat)
16 O boards (wont repeat)

Mavs in fricking 5.

Except for Bosh having a bad game.

Except for Wade being inefficient.

Except for Bron/Wade not getting to the rim.

Except for shooting 38% and STILL winning.

Yea, if you take out all those factors, you're assessment is spot on.

Bosh had 19/9, good game by his standards.

Wade had 22 points on 19 shots... about as efficient as we can expect

Bron/Wade didn't get to the rim because of Dallas defense.

The 39% shooting is misleading... they made timely, flukish 3's... be it Chalmers, Lebron, or Whistle

You know damn well the Mavs can play much better, while the Heat can't.

However, the Mavs were outperformed in terms of bench and three-point production, which should have been their two biggest strengths. Of course, the Heat deserve credit for their lightning quick rotations and good shooting. If the Mavs keep Miami out of the lane again, then it will favor Dallas. I think we see more of a return to the norm in game 2 in those categories, and the Mavs will win a close one tomorrow night.

5 of 18, 19 points is a bad game by Bosh's standards, terribly inefficient.

That's not as efficient as he's been all year, so no, it's not what we can expect against a defense that just got scored on a lot by OKC.

And they'll fix that.

Ghazi is on his knees praying for this to be true. It won't end well for ya. Just be happy for him (lebron) in June...k Ghazi?

Agreed, but I don't think they can do that all series.

If I heard Miami would shoot 38% and Bron/Wade would make 4 free throws, I'd assume they got beat by 15+.

Both teams didn't play that well offensively. I think the difference is Miami's defense is legit, and Dallas's defense won't be able to stop Miami enough like Miami can stop Dallas's offense.

I agree, but I felt like Miami played average to mediocre on offense and very good on defense, while Dallas really underachieved offensively. I agree with Ghazi that Dallas has more room improvement in game 2.

What a dumbshit. The Heat played bad, and still won.

16 offensive boards, 27 points from the bench is not playing bad, along w/ 11 3 pointers... 109 offensive rating too.

It's a fluke more than anything

I called Game 2 of the OKC series being a fluke and was right

I'll be right again

I hear ya.

Man, a big thing no one really talked about on here is Lebron guarding Terry.

I don't think anyone on here, myself included, every talked about that being a possibility before the game. And no one really mentioned it since(unless it was in the big game thread I didn't read.)

Most of us thought in the 2nd half we'd see Lebron on Dirk. But Spo put him on Terry which was pretty genius because you know Lebron will completely shut him down rather easily, and he did. So that basically just gives Dallas one option with Dirk. They can let Dirk do his thing, but Dallas really doesn't have any other options when JET literally can't score a single point with Lebron on him.

And Dallas randomly shooting their lowest shooting% and 2nd lowest point total in these playoffs, was that a fluke that was just coincidental since they're playing the best D they've seen in these playoffs?

FLUKE!!!

Dallas missed layups and open looks.

You know it, I know it... Miami knows it.
