Defense isn't good enough yet but maybe they can fix that with picks acquired from a Romo trade

That's the one ray of sunshine in this loss. Dallas is fricking stacked with young players under team control for the next few years. They will not be going away anytime soon imo

Some great young talent on that team.

The franchise is in good hands with Jerry.

I'm actually concerned the young talent will hide the coaching deficiencies, and they'll never truly be as great as they could become. But yes, they're stacked, and their OL is full of dudes on unbelievably team-friendly longterm deals.

If they get a pass rusher their D will transfor immediately. Their lack of a pass rush is incredible.

As long as they don't play Green Bay in the playoffs.

That's where having Randy Gregory would've come in handy.

I bet that one draft pick they'd love to redo right now.

Why is the future bright? Do they get another easy schedule?

Yeah.

They gotta keep acquiring talent on defense and maybe get a WR or two and just let Dak gain experience and they should be solid in a few years.

Their biggest challenge will be to keep that OL together on top of Dak and Zeke who are going to demand big money in a few years.
