It actually should be. USC has a pretty good defense...Fresno has a good offense.
USC has no offense - Fresno has no defense.
And I agree that Oregon St. vs. Boise St. is intriguing - those two fanbases hate each other.

I thoroughly enjoy watching college football, regardless of who is playing.
That having been said, I will go out of my way to watch these:
New Mexico Bowl: Mike Leach's teams are always fun to watch.
Las Vegas Bowl: Fresno State's offense vs. USC's resurgent defense. The battle of California.
Music City Bowl: Contrasting offensive styles
Alamo Bowl: It's like a 19 car pileup with every car on fire and a tanker truck full of jet fuel about to slam into it...you CANNOT look away.
Liberty Bowl: Rice has a fairly decent offense. Always fun to watch the Starkvegas meltdown
Chick Fil 'A Bowl: Likely Johnny Manziel's final college football game
Gator Bowl: Pelini's head might explode on the sidelines if he loses to Georgia for a 2nd straight bowl game.
Outback Bowl: Can LSU lose to a lower-conference team 2 years in a row?
Capital One Bowl: Always fun to watch a top ten SEC team roll a Big Ten loser
Cotton Bowl: For the second straight season, a former Big 12 team destroys the Big 12 co-champion. Hilarity ensues in Mike Gundy's postgame press conference.
Sugar Bowl: Bob Stoops and Mike Stoops might keel over and die of anyeurisms on the sideline.
National Title Game: Rapeis Winston gets raped by the Auburn front seven and the Auburn run game gives the SEC 8 straight.
