At the end of the day, it's all about business and the $$$. Players change teams, coaches change teams, teams change cities. The only constant is the almighty dollars. Coaches, players, and teams are on the dollar team. Only losers are the fans.

Here is what they have to look forward to here in LA. $80-$100 to park, $150+ per ticket, traffic, etc.

Go to a sports bar in Redondo Beach...watch all games on Sunday ticket...which sounds better?

Spanos doesn't give a shite about asses in the seats.

He sees his investment, which he has done absolutely nothing with in terms of on field ROI, ballooning into a gold mine.

You keep saying there are a lot of Chargers fans in LA, but that's bs. frick LA, y'all love you some Cowboys and Raiders.

Spanos is a moron, and only sees dollar signs here.

He's gonna pay a $600 million relocation fee to go to a town that doesn't care about football, and at the same time say frick you SD because they wouldn't fully fund a stadium for him.

$600 million, think about that for a minute.

Spanos tried really really hard to get something done in San Diego, why are you mad at him for doing what he has to?

Technically the whole "force a city to payfor millionaire to build a stadium" thing is completely shitty, but yeah it's a free market thing as long as city's are dumb enough to approve shite like that.

I'm currently in SD and nobody gives a frick. That was the consensus during the election as well.

Yep, if a city can't get it done despite tons of effort on both sides, there will always be a city that will. Just how it is.

San Diego couldn't vote to pass a hotel tax for $500 million, meanwhile Las Vegas voted to pass a hotel tax for $750 million in 2 weeks.

Dude, when the Chargers sucked in the late 90s the city subsidized the unsold tickets, sure it was a shitty deal that the city agreed to, but still. That a-hole got paid for a sellout when he was going 1-15.

After all of that, when they finally got good, and went 14-2 he promptly fired Marty.

Then he asks for us to pay full cost for a stadium knowing that he's got $600 million to piss away if he goes to LA.

Ain't nobody paying for that bullshite.

So now he'll go to LA and let Stan frick him in the arse.

frick that guy.

Not much he can do besides that though no?

No money for stadium
No fan support currently
No progress with city for years
About to become worst NFL stadium when Raiders leave

You just have to leave, all there is to it.

Yeah San Diego doesn't have much to bitch about because their home atmosphere was SO bad.

He's got plenty of fan support.

I understand SD is an outpost for most of you, but Sundays here are for watching the Chargers on the beach and enjoying some fine SD craft brews.

Spanos is jealous of what the Padres have, which is a great venue regardless of the on the field product.

He's a dick. I hope Kroenke and the Rams frick him in his sorry arse, year after year.

Padres are worth 890 million, Chargers are worth 2.08 billion.

He did what he had to do to get out of that dump of a stadium after trying many times with the city to come up with something, and they could not.

Happens, and about to happen again in 2 months.

Trust me.

He's jealous of what the Padres were able to accomplish, and facilitate regardless of on the field product.

Ok.

Sure pal.

LA is Raiders, Cowboys, and now shruggingly Rams.

The Chargers aren't and never have been part of the equation. With the exception of South OC.

The I.E. sure as shite is Raiderland, and LA is a fricked up conglomeration of Raiders and Cowboys fans.

Spanos is hedging his bet with a small percentage of fans, most of whom are too fricking old to go to the games.

I hate the fricking Raiders, but I hope they move here so it destroys everything for that billionaire frick.

spanos himself said about like a third of the charger fanbase lives in the LA metro area. i knew just as many charger fans growing up as raider fans. and i knew just as many cowboy/niner/raider fans as those. yes, the city is a hodgepodge of fan support stemming from it being a transplant city and not having a team for over 20 years. but there absolutely are a decent number of charger fans in the area
