New Mexico State basketball is like Tennessee football in the late 1990s on steroids - they pull recruits nationally/internationally.



On a serious note, I always found it interesting as to how these things happen. Hell, Nicholls State always seems to have a few Australian nationals on their basketball teams, and their tennis team is usually 100% internationals.

My cousin got a scholarship for golf there and after his freshman year, gave up golf, transferred to ASU and paid out of state tuition to do so

Well, if their choices are:

A) Garbage team of Americans who had no choice but choose to live/play in New Mexico.

or

B) Non-Americans who don't know any better.


I assume you choose B.
