Kramer, 50, played for four NFL teams during a 10-year career. He led the Lions to a 12-4 record and an appearance in the 1991 NFC Championship game.

His former wife, Marshawn Kramer, told NBC News he had been suffering from depression as a result of brain injuries.

Looks like the old concussion bug strikes again.

He had a son that OD'd on heroin. Depression is probably exacerbating his brain condition as well.

Sad, and will continue to cause the NFL to look at reducing violent hits.

Story is about him going through depression and trying to kill himself and the first comment is about him being awful with the bears. Stay classy.

Does a person survive a suicide attempt or did they just screw it up?

He might have long-term concussion issues. But, it could be depression. Losing a kid like he did can make that kind of situation much worse. And, I know of people who have had serious depression after losing a child. I hope he gets the help he needs, whatever his health situation is.

"Care" as in affecting me personally? No.

"Care" as in StrongBackWeakMind (or one of you other asshats) had his child run over and killed today and it's a tough thing? I guess you would say no to that as well?

Right because Erick may stumble upon this thread, read that someone said he sucked, and try again?
