This game broke and tied a record.

I believe this is only the 2nd tied game (IIRC) on a Sunday night - the other was a 7-7 game between the Redskins and the Giants (the infamous Gus Frerotte headbutt game). THAT game was also the lowest scoring tied game UNTIL tonight.

Just not true.

The Cardinals alone were involved in 2 other 6-6 tie games in 1970 & 1972.

Cardinals tied the Giants 20-20 on MNF way back in 1983. I remember coming back from a trip and catching the OT period.
